i saw the news on tv last night...

some members of the Opus Dei reacted to the exaggerated picture of the organization and its 'rituals' presented by Dan Brown in his controversial book- The Da Vinci Code....

i don't know if the movie [starring Tom Hanks] will still have the chance to be shown in the Philippines since many religious sects are fearing of the effect it will have on Catholics- specially the youth....

as for me, i think that the BOOK is more powerful and has more possibility and chance of 'convincing' the people about the so-called wedlock of Jesus Christ to Mary Magdalene [pardon me for spoiling those who have not yet read the book]...i admit though, that after reading, i had some questions but i never doubted my religion and faith...i believe in God and the teachings of the church...

my wanting to see this movie is merely out of curiosity...and i guess it depends whether the movie-goer will allow himself to be influenced by this movie or not...
